Reagans Birthday

Reagan turned 2! For her birthday we had a pool party at my brothers house. We did some painting, played some games, had a pinata, and swam. It was fun and we can't believe how big Our little Reagan is. She is such a sweetheart. She loves to talk. She is very friendly and her favorite toys are babies, and puppies.

Gone fishin

Jeremiah has been talking about taking up fishing since we moved here. Well, he went and bought some poles a few weeks ago and he and Wendel have gone a few times. They eat whatever they catch if they can't let them go. So far, they've had 1 lunch and 1 dinner--they love it:) I can't bring myself to cook them though, so that falls on Jeremiahs shoulders:) Here is a pic of the HUGE fish Wendel caught all by himself today---reeled it in and everything. He said he felt like he wanted to throw up when he saw the blood--kinda cute to me for some reason. He is definitely not going to go into the medical profession--blood always freaks him out.

Playground

There is a playgroup right out our back door and it has really been a lifesaver for our bored days:) Wendel has mastered the monkey bars and Reagan, the slide.

swim practice

We love our new place here--specifically b/c it has a pool we swim in almost everyday. Wendel can doggy paddle across the whole pool which I am impressed with. His and Reagans favorite game is 'hand surfing' with dad--he is much more fun than me:)

Hogle Zoo

We've been trying to stay busy before school starts. We went to the zoo here, rode the train and had lunch. We saw a lot of baby animals, a giraffe, snow leopard, meetkats--all nursing. I guess maybe I just noticed that b/c I will be doing that again soon and it always makes me feel like an animal--specifically a cow though:)

Aquarium with Sherwoods

My sister and her family came to visit a couple weeks ago. We met up with my brother's family, my other sister, and Stantons brother and wife for a trip to the aquarium and lunch. They had a little animal show where they had up close and personal sighting of animals. Everyone had fun and Reagan loved the snakes....she couldn't wait till after the show when she got to tough it. She definitely doesn't get that from me:)

Dino museum

A couple of weeks ago we went to the Dino museum for playgroup. Wendel loves this place--or course digging in the sand is always the favorite:)

Back in Provo

The kids and I got back to Provo about a week ago. We've been doing lots of swimming and going to the park. The kids have been dying to see Jeremiah because he has had such a busy summer and we have been apart the last 2 weeks for my family reunion and then getting here before him. Well, he got back yesterday and we were all Sooooo happy. The kids have been glued to him ever since. "I want my daddy" "I need my daddy" is all I have been hearing. It's so cute. We lounged around yesterday and just snuggled all day. Then we went swimming so the kids could show off all the skills they have been working on. Right now Jeremiah and Wendel are doing a scavenger hunt Jeremiah planned to help Wendel practice his reading. He is earning quarters to buy a treat at the movie theater later this evening:) Jeremiah is such a good dad! We are all in heaven:) We are so glad to have our little family back together!
