fishing Elephant Butte
We took a trip to Elephant Butte before Jeremiah had to start work for the summer. He had high hopes of taking Wendel fishing. His uncle even arranged for a fishing guide and they got up at 5:30 to go. When they got to the lake, the wind was horrible. They finally went out on the boat about 9:00, but the swells were 4 ft. tall, so it was a short trip. Wendel caught a little fish for bait on the marina, so he was pretty excited. I asked him what kind it was and he just said, "it's just a garbage fish mom." We had fun playing on the beach regaurdless of the weather and visiting Jeremiah's uncle was also a lot of fun.
